We are looking to hire someone to maintain our community garden. Tasks will include weeding, watering, planting and harvesting the plot for the food bank. In addition tasks will include maintenance of the garden, fence, weed wacking, staining raised beds, repairs as needed to the garden and equipment as needed, working on the compost pile. Greeting others who use the garden and assisting them as able. And more as needed. Some heavy lifting will be required, as well as repetitive tasks like bending over, shoveling raking and more. This job will require the candidate to be outside in all weather conditions.
