The Marketing, Digital Media & Event Training Coordinator will support promotion, planning, and delivery of the Fredericton Craft Beer Festival while receiving hands-on training in marketing, tourism promotion, digital media, and event operations. The role supports festival attendance growth, regional tourism promotion, and increased visibility for New Brunswick producers and hospitality partners.
The candidate will receive supervised training in digital marketing campaigns, social media content creation and scheduling, email marketing, website updates, marketing analytics, sponsor promotion, and event logistics. Training includes mentorship, exposure to marketing timelines, and participation in campaign planning and reporting.
Responsibilities include assisting with marketing campaigns, managing digital content, supporting ticket promotion, assisting sponsor visibility, and supporting on-site event operations.

The successful candidate will provide event and membership support to the chamber of commerce team and will liaise with the chamber’s membership in person and in writing. This year, students will also be spending 1 day per week at the Hampton High School Food Forest & Garden, helping with maintenance and projects there.

Fredericton Outdoor Summer Theatre is a non-profit tour and theatre company comprised of: The Calithumpians, who perform live lunchtime theatre, guide the Haunted Hike at night and conduct workshops with our drama camps; The Fredericton Fencibles, who perform Guard House Theatre and conduct tours of downtown Fredericton, the Historic Garrison District, and The Guard House National Historic Site; and our “Act Now!” Drama Camps for youth age 6 to 14, led by a group of drama camp counselors.
This 12-14 week position will be with one of the three troupes outlined above for our 2025 summer season. Candidates will be required to audition / interview with our company in late April / early May.
