The Summer Student Intern will work with congregants and church leadership in the planning and conduct of Sunday services. The Camp Lifeguard is responsible for ensuring the safety and supervision of all aquatic activities by preparing pool regulations, checking safety equipment, setting up designated swim areas, and training staff in pool procedures before camp begins. During camp, the Lifeguard has full authority in the pool area, maintains vigilant supervision, enforces rules, tests all swimmers, oversees safety systems, vacuums the pool daily, organizes water events, provides safety instructions, and collaborates with the Camp Director on programming. The role also includes reporting equipment issues, assisting with general camp activities, supporting canoe safety, conducting weekly emergency drills, and helping in other areas as needed. After camp, the Lifeguard submits weekly programming reports and provides recommendations for pool and equipment improvements.
