A - Food Preparation
• Prepares food for breakfast, lunch, supper and nutritional snacks.
• Assists the cook with cooking procedures.
• Prepares supplemental beverages according to individual diets and needs such as high calorie and
protein beverages.
• Monitors and documents food and refrigeration temperatures.

B - Food Distribution
• Assembles trays for dietary carts.
• Arranges place settings for dining room.
• Portions and serves meals to residents according to assigned diets.
• Distributes and retrieves dietary carts to and from designated areas.
• Supervises and assists residents at mealtimes.
• Serves meals to staff and visitors.

C - Cleaning Duties
• Disassembles food carts and trays.
• Clears off and pre-soaks dishes and utensils.
• Washes pots and pans.
• Loads and unloads dishwasher.
• Stacks and stores clean dishes in designated areas.
• Cleans/sanitizes kitchen and dining room areas, surfaces, equipment and floors.
• Collects garbage and disposes of waste.

The Boys & Girls Club of Charlotte County is seeking to hire students to assist with our summer programs. The successful candidates must be enthusiastic about working with children, willing to learn and be flexible to work with a variety of age groups from birth to age 12.

The ONE Summer Supervisors will be responsible for activity supervision and working with the youth in the Old North End of Saint John aged 6-12 and teens (ages 12-18). The program includes drop in activities, camp and in the events.
Working as a team to:
*Supervise ONE Change summer activities and events
*Plan and deliver programming for summer programs (planning and training, camp activities, end of summer events)
*Supervise youth participating
*Plan and supervise educational and recreational activities outside the Centre
*Provide activities for the playground and in the community to engage youth
*Create a welcoming engaging space for teen drop in
*Prepare lunch and snacks
*Clean-up of activities
Working within Centre:
*Clean-up after programming (programming area and common spaces)
*Event participation
*Supervision of youth
*Coordination of breaks and coverage
*Other duties as assigned.

Greens maintenance, mowing, seeding, fertilizing, weeding. Facility maintenance, painting interior and exterior of building. Repair decks and boards surrounding the green. Expansion of existing garden. Maintenance of three garden sheds and day-to-day maintenance of machinery and equipment. Prepares green for play, setting up rinks for competition on a daily basis. Following completion of play, puts all equipment away. May require student to assist with clinics to teach local elementary/middle school students the game of lawn bowls. Assist with local tournaments hosted by club. Assist with Provincial and Atlantic tournaments hosted by club. Assist with cleaning and sanitizing of club house.

In this role, you are part of the direct care team. You will be a huge help to our staff; you will get to know our residents on a personal level and help to brighten their summers.
You will report directly to the RN/LPN on the neighborhood.
They will have recommendations for you for those who need assistance that day.
Your first task may be to assist residents with their morning meals.
You will then be available to help care attendants

While assisting them, make sure you engage in conversation and help to make their dining experience pleasant. • Each morning, please update the activity boards with the day’s activities. • Check the calendar for upcoming events and prepare anything needed. • If something is on the calendar as an activity, you may be responsible for seeing it through from start to finish. If it’s on the calendar, use it as an indication that it is your responsibility. • When there are no scheduled activities, we ask that you be creative and engage the residents. Baking, dancing, etc (as long as residents are participating) to Take residents out for walks ¿ for residents living with Dementia activities involving the senses are very popular. They enjoy music, art, dancing, singing and one on one time.

Community & Family Services worker will complete data entry, lift and organize food bank supplies, food bank prep work, answer phones, drive work vehicle for pickup of donations and other duties as needed. Work directly with clients during food bank operations including assisting them through the process and assisting the, out with their items. Help organize and implement community events. Valid drivers license and Driver abstract mandatory.
