Our Early Childhood Centre is looking to hire a student for the summer who loves children and would like to experience what is involved in working at an Early Childhood Learning Center. You’ll be assisting with planning, field trips and general classroom maintenance. The right student for this job loves being outside, having fun and doesn’t mind getting messy!

Help maintain church property. Lawn and general maintenance. Be a high school student entering 10, 11 or 12in September 2025 OR must be a high school graduate planning to attend university/college in the upcoming year. It is highly recommended that students sign up for the NB S.E.E.D. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. and own a CSA approved work boots. Must possess a current WHMIS, First Aid, CPR and WH&S certification or be prepared to take training.

The candidate will work alongside a co-worker and be responsible for caring for the physical, emotional and overall well-being of 30 school age children between the ages of 5-12. The Cabin Counsellor at Camp Rotary supervises and supports a group of campers, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment. They assist with daily living activities, including personal care, mealtime assistance, and mobility support, fostering independence. Counsellors lead activities, help campers develop social skills, and create a positive atmosphere where friendships flourish. They guide campers in group dynamics, ensuring everyone feels heard and respected. Counsellors communicate with senior staff, reporting concerns and collaborating on individualized plans. The position requires patience, empathy, and flexibility, with the ability to handle various medical, personal care, and behavioral needs. The Lifeguard at Camp Rotary ensures the safety of campers and staff during aquatic activities, including swimming and canoeing. They monitor water activities, enforce safety rules, and respond to emergencies with quick action. Lifeguards maintain a vigilant watch over designated swimming areas, promote water safety, and assist with pre-activity preparations. When not guarding, they also serve as Cabin Counsellors, supporting and supervising campers. They maintain cleanliness and organization at the waterfront and are trained in first aid, CPR, and rescue techniques. Lifeguards interact with campers, staff, and senior team members to ensure a safe, enjoyable environment. The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to work independently, and a calm demeanour in stressful situations.

The Parks Maintenance Worker(s) will work with the staff of the Rural Community of Hanwell to assist in the maintenance of parks, trails, and all other green spaces throughout the community. They are to maintain the trail networks to ensure they are operating in a safe an desirable condition, which may involve digging, raking, shoveling, and hauling fill, etc. The Park Maintenance Worker(s) will also assist in the maintenance of flowers and shrubs, light landscaping such as grass trimming, staining, and painting various structures within our parks. The Parks Maintenance Worker(s) will report to the Director of Recreation & Parks. The Parks Maintenance Worker(s) must be familiar with using basic hand tools, be expected to work outside in adverse weather conditions, and must be able to receive instructions in a professional manner.
