The Recreation Assistant will work collaboratively with the Director of Recreation & Parks to assist, manage, and monitor a suite of seasonal recreation and leisure opportunities for the residents of the Rural Community of Hanwell. The Recreation Assistant’s main duties will include acting as the main liaison for community initiatives that extend across multiple disciplines (i.e., arts, leisure, recreation, and sport), developing effective communication and marketing material, and be responsible for program delivery if need be. The Recreation Assistant must be willing to work varied hours as evening and weekend responsibilities will be varied from event-to-event.
