The supervisor will be responsible for working with the youth aged 6-10 in the Old North End of Saint John. The Summer Camp offers programs for youth and teens.
Working as a team:
*Plan and deliver programming for summer camp attendees (planning and training, 7 weeks of camp activities, end of summer events)
*Supervision of counsellors and youth while participating in summer activities (partner activities, day trips, events, playground
*Plan and supervise of educational and recreational activities outside
*Provide activities for the playground and in the community to engage youth
*Create a welcoming engaging space for teen drop in
*Prepare lunch and snacks
*Clean-up of activities
Working within Centre operations through:
*Clean-up after programming (programming area and common spaces)
*Event participation, including our community party day
*Supervision of youth in the Centre and at the playground
*Coordination of breaks and coverage when appropriate
*Other duties as assigned.
