Preparation of outdoor space for recreational use, beautification project of the church grounds (weeding, mowing, watering flower beds, etc.), annual inventory of items in the church, lead the "Games" section of the Vacation Bible School Program, co-lead a one-week back yard bible study club for middle school aged youth.
Other responsibilities may include (but are not limited to) other jobs as assigned by pastor, church elders or trustees that involve providing for some of the needs within our local community. This may include mowing lawns, general yard work, etc. for those in the community that are experiencing hardship.
Student will be supervised onsite by pastor and will meet regularly. If pastor is unavailable, student will meet with a church elder or member of trustee board. The student will be encouraged to grow in their interpersonal skills so that they can adapt and work in various environments. Students will be given a binder for their employee manual, timesheets, etc,.

The Craft Program Coordinator (CPC) will oversee craft programs for organized visits to Tucker Park, managing over 1500 expected participants from very diverse backgrounds including ages 4-90, socioeconomic factors, physical, mental, and emotional challenges. This challenging position involves coordinating craft lesson plans with environmental educational outcomes, planning, organizing, and ordering materials for all sessions. The CPC will also lead the "Kids in the Park Program" for young children, promoting appreciation for the natural environment through fun activities like crafts, short trail walks and talks, games, and other fun activities. This program will be available twice a week for four weeks during the summer. Other duties could be assigned as they arise.

Required skills include craft experience, strong interpersonal skills, ability to work with diverse groups, independence, problem-solving, and leadership. Assets include bilingualism and some computer skills.

Receives assignments from the Director of Maintenance Performs preventative maintenance on buildings and equipment on a scheduled basis such as inspections and repairs or replacing defective parts on equipment. Performs building maintenance and repairs such as painting, plastering, and assembling equipment. Maintains building grounds such as mowing lawns, planting flowers, snow removal, and landscaping. Performs minor equipment repairs on various equipment such as ovens, air conditioners, and wheelchairs. Performs basic plumbing and electrical duties such as replacing faucets and repairing electrical beds. Operates and services facility equipment such as tractors, vehicles and lawn mowers. Orders, receives, and stocks supplies. Assists contractors working on site

Socialize w/ residents, One-on-one with residents who are lonely, or have minimal family/social contacts, assist w/ their meals, Answer call bells. • Weather appropriate: Take residents outside to courtyards or out front & around the building (Ask staff which residents in wheelchairs or ambulatory that may enjoy this. • Style hair, Nail care (check if diabetic) & manicures (ask staff who may enjoy this). • If there is no entertainment scheduled, think of an activity that you may wish to do w/ the resident e.g. movie, reading, reminiscing, cards, tea party & so forth. • Assisting the Day Program (KWCC) is acceptable, but your primary role Life Bio followed by recreation. • We encourage you to do group activities with other students but we ask that you not sit in groups. If you find you are sitting chatting with another student, take that opportunity to decide on the next activity and start something fun.

Create maps specifically for Lakeland Ridges. The student will use addresses from the tax role and from Elections NB, place them on the map so the entity lines between neighboring communities are clear, the addresses between wards within Lakeland Ridges are clearly identified, as well as current fire boundaries. Once that is complete, the student may also assist with researching options to combine current subunits.

The Summer Baseball Program Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and coordinating key aspects of a 10-week summer baseball program. The primary responsibilities include field scheduling, assigning umpires, planning special events, and leading training camps.
