Preparation of outdoor space for recreational use, beautification project of the church grounds (weeding, mowing, watering flower beds, etc.), annual inventory of items in the church, lead the "Games" section of the Vacation Bible School Program, co-lead a one-week back yard bible study club for middle school aged youth.
Other responsibilities may include (but are not limited to) other jobs as assigned by pastor, church elders or trustees that involve providing for some of the needs within our local community. This may include mowing lawns, general yard work, etc. for those in the community that are experiencing hardship.
Student will be supervised onsite by pastor and will meet regularly. If pastor is unavailable, student will meet with a church elder or member of trustee board. The student will be encouraged to grow in their interpersonal skills so that they can adapt and work in various environments. Students will be given a binder for their employee manual, timesheets, etc,.

The Craft Program Coordinator (CPC) will oversee craft programs for organized visits to Tucker Park, managing over 1500 expected participants from very diverse backgrounds including ages 4-90, socioeconomic factors, physical, mental, and emotional challenges. This challenging position involves coordinating craft lesson plans with environmental educational outcomes, planning, organizing, and ordering materials for all sessions. The CPC will also lead the "Kids in the Park Program" for young children, promoting appreciation for the natural environment through fun activities like crafts, short trail walks and talks, games, and other fun activities. This program will be available twice a week for four weeks during the summer. Other duties could be assigned as they arise.
Required skills include craft experience, strong interpersonal skills, ability to work with diverse groups, independence, problem-solving, and leadership. Assets include bilingualism and some computer skills.
