We are seeking a detail-oriented and resourceful student to join our team as a Grant Research Assistant this summer. In this role, you will support the organization by identifying and researching grant opportunities using various grant research databases with the backing our Administration Team to secure funding for our programs and initiatives. This is a fully remote position, you will need a High Speed Internet Connection, and a private Space to work (a home-office, or bedroom). The only skills required for this placement is Microsoft Office, as well as the ability to work alone, and follow written directions without direct supervision, while having access to supervisors for support, electronically (by Telephone, Instant Messaging, etc).

You are passionate about reducing waste. You compost & recycle everything possible and understand the importance of keeping garbage to a minimum. You are an excellent communicator and comfortable talking to people of all ages, including children.
Duties
•Educate residents about recycling and composting
•Conduct waste audits & curbside surveys
•Input data from audits into excel
•Attend local events to promote waste reduction
•Office administration
•Conduct summer camp activities for children
•Conduct Puppet Show for Grade 2 students
Qualifications
•Post-Secondary student
•Excellent communications skills, organized and responsible.
•Passionate about the environment and waste reduction
•Bilingual is a definite asset.
•Valid driver’s license

The Soccer Programs Coordinators will:
-design and and deliver on field soccer sessions for youth ages 3-13
-work with coaches to help players learn new skills
-communicate to membership on schedules and events
-deliver festivals and jamborees (special events)
-social media campaigns
-take part in staff training and events

Odd jobs such as painting, mowing, grass trimming, planting, watering, weeding flowers, litter pickup. Students will also be required to help out at community events with set up and clean up.
