The marina attendants work under the supervision of the Director of Recreation and Parks and will be responsible for ensuring the daily tasks are carried out at the marina and tracking all inventory. Duties include pumping fuel for boaters, renting water equipment to visitors, tourists and selling souvenirs and concessions at the marina building. Cleaning of public washrooms, marina building and waterfront area, including mowing grass, weeding flowers will be a daily/weekly task. Answering inquiries from tourists through phone calls and in person will be another daily task. Promoting Destination Nackawic and the amenities of the community and surrounding areas will play a key role for the marina attendant. Assisting with special events on the waterfront will occur throughout the summer.

This position will work under the direct supervision of the Director of Recreation & Parks and along side of the Recreation staff. Duties include mowing and trimming of grass on waterfront area, parks, nature trails and around municipal owned buildings. Watering of community flower boxes will be a daily task. Maintenance and lining of ballfields, soccer fields for summer programs and assisting with special events and annual festivals. Cleaning and maintenance of arena facilities including painting and minor repairs and maintenance of international garden area and flower beds including weeding and mulching.

Le CPE Les Matelots est présentement à la recherche d’animateurs pour son camp
d’été 2022. Le centre cherche à combler majoritairement des postes à temps plein
mais une possibilité de temps partiel est également disponible (service de garde).
L’animateur temps plein doit être dans la possibilité de combler des heures entre 7h00
et 17h30 et ce, du lundi au vendredi.

Working with children and youth from across New Brunswick, our summer camp staff will deliver a dynamic adventure based residential camp program from our site on North Lake in Lakeland Ridges, NB. Working as part of a team staff will support children and youth at risk as they take part in a challenge by choice adventure based summer program. Canoeing, camping, hiking, low ropes challenge course and orienteering are some of the program areas that staff will be trained in to support youth.
