As a day camp counsellor, you will be responsible for the planning and implementing of a safe, enjoyable, and inclusive summer day camp for school aged children. This includes, but is not limited to planning activities, crafts, games, outings, and special events. You will ensure that the building, playground, and playing fields are in safe working order, and free of hazards. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained. Preparing an afternoon snack, and end of the day cleaning is required to be completed on a rotating schedule.
Most importantly, you will be responsible for making sure that all children attending feel safe, and welcome, by having open communication with them, and showing a genuine interest in each child.

As the summer youth sports coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing summer sports for youth throughout the community. This incudes, but is not limited to recruiting volunteers to help coach various sports, organizing registration for participants, maintaining sports fields, including lining and mowing when needed, and maintaining sporting equipment. In addition, you will be working with the summer camp staff to provide camp attendees the opportunity to participate in sporting activities during the camp hours.

Duties include taking reservations in person, over the phone or online, registering campers, collecting payments, preparing daily reports, filing, answering phones, assisting campers in order to make their stay a favourable experience, deal with issues that may arise, preform light cleaning of office, work on checklist, inventory, etc. Provide tourist with local and regional tourism attractions, answering questions from tourist, assist with other duties that may arise from time to time.

The GMFA is seeking a Summer Program Coordinator through the SEED NB program. The student will help plan, organize, and supervise the Spring Flag Football program and lead the coordination of our Summer Camp, including schedules, activity planning, and volunteer recruitment. Duties also include equipment inventory, creating training videos, and developing social media content. The student will gain hands‑on coaching experience and learn the operations of a minor sport organization. English is essential; bilingualism is an asset. Evening and weekend availability required. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license, be returning to post‑secondary studies in fall 2026, and be preferably 19+.
