The Arts Program Coordinator will support inclusive, engaging, and accessible art education and public programs at the Gallery during summer 2026. Working primarily in the Harrison McCain Pavilion and Education Centre, the student will assist with the development and facilitation of exhibition-related programming for visitors of all ages. A key responsibility will be leading daily free bilingual Art Cart activities, providing hands-on creative experiences; having two coordinators will allow programming to run seven days a week.

The primary objective is to expand the Gallery’s public programming capacity while providing the student with practical, transferable skills. The Coordinator will help plan and deliver hands-on activities connected to current exhibitions, with a focus on children aged 6–12. Working with Education and Curatorial staff, the student will gain experience in program development, accessibility, and public engagement within a professional cultural institution.
