This job is a hospitality and communication position for people with a passion for history and heritage.
The student will perform all tasks inherent to the opening, operations and closing of the MR21 (Monument of Recognition in the 21st century, interpretation center/museum of the cathedral of Moncton). He/she will memorize a lot of information about Acadie and the cathedral and communicate it, in both official languages, to visitors.
He/she will be in charge of selling tickets and items in the box office.
He/she will be responsible for updating the social networks on a weekly basis.
He/she will be required to travel to specific events, such as festivals, to offer a virtual tour of the cathedral using a virtual reality headset.
He/she will be asked to conduct research and participate in the cataloguing of documents in our archive center.
