The Camp Lifeguard is responsible for ensuring the safety and supervision of all aquatic activities by preparing pool regulations, checking safety equipment, setting up designated swim areas, and training staff in pool procedures before camp begins. During camp, the Lifeguard has full authority in the pool area, maintains vigilant supervision, enforces rules, tests all swimmers, oversees safety systems, vacuums the pool daily, organizes water events, provides safety instructions, and collaborates with the Camp Director on programming. The role also includes reporting equipment issues, assisting with general camp activities, supporting canoe safety, conducting weekly emergency drills, and helping in other areas as needed. After camp, the Lifeguard submits weekly programming reports and provides recommendations for pool and equipment improvements.

Under supervision of our project manager and field supervisor preform electrofishing surveys to determine fish densities on the Nepisiguit river and its tributaries. along with other rivers in our region to determine fish densities. Water quality measurements with include temperatue,O2 , turbidity , flow rates , acidity and other parameters will be taken on the Nepisiguit, Bass,Tetagouche, Elmtree rivers to determine river health. The crew will also preform culvert and Beaver dam assessment ,cleanup and GIS mapping of possible obstructions to to spawning fish passage. With help from Government and NGO agencies CABIN and Benthic surveys with be preformed on all rivers in the region to determine overall river health. We will start a land usage maps inputted on a GIS system along all river in our area to determined whether, industrial, agricultural ,municipal looking for possible river hazards to be shared with other Government and NGO's to better understand overall river health.

L'entretien paysagiste sur le site touristique la grotte, le terrain de l'église & presbytère. Entretien des pierres tombales après la coupe du gazon au cimetière.
