Empowered by the Camp Director, the Cabin Leader, with the tools and resources provided, is entrusted with fulfilling the purpose of One Hope Canada both personally and at their camp. A Cabin Leader’s primary responsibility is to build relationships with campers and help draw them closer to Christ, introducing them to a life like no other! Cabin Leaders lead cabin discussion groups, offer love and a listening ear (and correction if needed) and care for the daily basic needs of campers. Cabin Leaders also lead various land and water activities according to ability, experience and interest, and assist in leading teams in various adventure games. The Public Works Laborer will be responsible for maintenance and upkeep of various properties owned by the municipality. Tasks include but are not limited to: cutting grass, controlling weeds, maintenance of flower beds, landscaping and garbage pick up.
