Exemple d'activités: jeux de société, jeux de cartes, atelier d'art, sorties à l'extérieure, cinéma, marche,mini-golf, quilles, etc.

L'étudiant(e) devra démontrer de l’initiative et être à l'aise à communiquer avec les participants du centre.

Nous privilégions les étudiants dont nous pourrions embaucher plus d'un été.

Salvus Clinic is looking for a Peer Project Assistant for an 8 weeks 35hr/week student summer position. Salvus Clinic provides flexible, community-based services that are designed to promote the stability, recovery and community reintegration of housing challenged individuals who have mental health issues and co-occurring substance use disorders.

Job Description:

The shop mechanic will be taught basic training in bike repair skills and will continue to grow
their knowledge throughout the summer. The shop mechanic will work independently and as
part of a team to help repair bikes at La Bikery and guide clients through the repairs of their
own bikes. This position includes helping people one-on-one with bike repairs, making sure
tools are returned properly, and generally ensuring the smooth operations of the 4 bike repair stations.
Responsibilities:
 Responsible for supervising the workshop area of the sho
 Bike mechanics and will help guide customers through repairs on their bikes
 Assist with repairs for La Bikery's Recycle-A-Bike program which deters bicycles from the landfill.
 Participate in community events or workshops to promote bicycle safety and offer bik
repair demonstrations

The students will help with maintenance of our Affordable Housing Properties as well as our Social Enterprise Hub. They will assist with painting, small repairs indoors and outdoors and grounds care. The students will be supervised by our maintenance Manager and will receive instruction when necessary.
