 Assist in the planning, design, and implementation of municipal infrastructure projects.
 Conduct field inspections and surveys to assess the condition of roads, bridges, and other infrastructure assets.
 Collaborate with engineering staff to analyze data, prepare reports, and make recommendations for infrastructure improvements.
 Provide support in the review of engineering drawings, specifications, and construction plans.
 Assist with project coordination, including liaising with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
 Participate in meetings, site visits, and other relevant activities as required.

Assist maintenance employees with general maintenance of the property. Duties include cleaning common areas, cleaning empty apartments, lawn mowing, yard work, and other maintenance tasks. Candidates should have the ability to work independently as well as with a team. Hours are from Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Anticipated start/end dates are from April 21st, 2025 until September 5th, 2025.

The main duties will include, but are not limited to;
Receiving and storing food.
Helping with food/ fund raising activities.
Day to day operations such as client intakes, packing food hampers, cleaning, greeting faces, cleaning the food bank. The Food Safety and Handling course is required.
Gardening is also a big part of the foodbank. Assist the current employees on programs with day to day operations.
Administrative work, answering phones. A St. George and Area Food Bank Oath of Confidentiality agreement must be signed.
recording and sharing weekly on social media- information sessions about various gardening and food security topics. Where the community garden is and how to access it, household composting, plant diseases and pests- what to look for, planting and pairing tips, how to grow vegetables indoors, foraging, how to harvest and store vegetables, fruit trees and bushes, edible weeds., and sharing information on how best to prepare, eat and store products.
