The student will use addresses from the tax role and from Elections NB, place them on the map so the entity lines between neighboring communities are clear, the addresses between wards within Lakeland Ridges are clearly identified, as well as current fire boundaries. Once that is complete, the student may also assist with researching options to combine current subunits.

Performs physical grounds keeping maintenance tasks e.g. spring clean-up and raking leaves and broken tree branches; grass mowing and trimming; tree pruning, planting, fertilizing, edging and mulching; flower and shrub bed trimming, spring prep and cleaning, edging, mulching; backfill, material spreading and leveling sunken areas in graveyards; top dressing and seeding damaged turf areas, and preparing for hydroseeding and /or installation of sod; cleaning and painting buildings, fences, flagpoles, and other fixed assets; straightening, leveling and cleaning stone monuments and flush markers; operation of ride-on mower and powered grass trimmers, power washer, garden tillers, etc.;open and closed graves for cremation burials; use of hand tools like rakes, shovels pry bars, wheel barrows, saws, pruning shears, hand loppers, and the like. The Association Plein Air Shediac Outdoors Association (APASOA) has the purpose to build and maintain non-motorized nature trails in the town of Shediac and to promote their use. The APASOA has a trail network of approximately 12 km along the Scoudouc River in Shediac. APASOA trails can be enjoyed for walking, hiking, trail running, snowshoeing, mountain biking, or fatbiking. To help maintain the high quality of its trail system, Nature trail workers will contribute to the development of new trails and the maintenance or improvement of existing trails. The Nature trail workers should be ready to engage in physical work such as digging irrigation canals, shoveling dirt, moving rocks, removing roots and other similar actions. Candidates recruited will receive training in proper trail building techniques and will be provided with the necessary trail building tools. The APASOA is seeking applications from autonomous and highly motivated candidates with a high sense of responsibilities.
