Reporting to the Youth Camp Coordinator she/he/they will lead programming with excitement for children and youth, 6-18 years old. Working closely with the Youth Program Coordinator, this position will provide safe and constructive social/recreational programming.
Camp Carleton is a FREE day camp with over 100 registered kids each summer. We use fun activities like outdoor sports, brain games, art class, gardening, etc. to engage/teach youth the importance of self-worth, diversity, emotional intelligence, and healthy lifestyles.
Responsibilities:
Be a positive role model and mentor.
Foster relationships between parents, youth authorities and schools.
Actively participate in planning, implementing program plans.
Bring energy and excitement to programming by engaging with youth.
Supervise youth ages 6-18 during program hours.
Timely reporting on positive outcomes, incidents, and centre repairs.
Other responsibilities as delegated by the Youth Program Coordinator.

Reporting to the Youth Program Coordinator she/he/they will organize and implement plans for events and fundraiser, including our annual event, Saint John West Days. She/he/they will be working closely with Camp Carleton youth and staff on ideas, events, and fundraisers.
CCC has an outside beach volleyball league, that operates five days a week.This league acts a fundraiser for the centre. She/he/they will help manage league, collect scores, lock, and unlock courts, court upkeep, etc.
Responsibilities:
Foster relationships between parents, youth authorities, community members, and schools.
Plan, organize, and oversee events and campaigns to raise money and other donations.
Bring energy and excitement to programming by engaging with youth and residents.
Actively researching potential donors and working close with previous community partners.
Manage beach volleyball league - all tasks required
Other responsibilities as delegated by the Youth Program Coordinator.
