Summer students perform a variety of tasks related to the community park. The work must be performed with exceptional attention to detail, minimal supervision and a high level of professionalism. Selected students may be asked to take an occupational health and safety course. CPR and first aid courses are an asset. Students in children's, community or population health programs are an asset. Plan the park's official opening day (carnival). Supervise children playing in the park. Plan and organize theme days (pirates, crafts, etc.). Collaborate with other non-profit organizations or key partners. Rainy days: Remote work (home): Development of community activities, special days. Skills permitting: Website creation and social media. Main responsibility for the maintenance of the park (e.g flowers, garbage removal, etc.).
