The successful candidate will assist with market operations, including interacting with guests, supporting vendors, working in the market’s retail store, helping with social media and marketing initiatives, and contributing to the overall cleanliness and organization of the market. This role also involves assisting with planning and promoting special market events that highlight the importance of local food, small businesses, and community engagement.



A key aspect of this position is fostering an awareness of the benefits of shopping local, supporting small-scale producers, and recognizing the role of farmers’ markets in strengthening food security. The Market Experience Assistant will help share these values with visitors and the community, contributing to a welcoming and educational market experience.
