Assistant to the Executive Director, Tasks related to the operation of the food bank including packing client food boxes, stocking shelves, managing inventory, receiving deliveries, temperature checks, sorting donations, assisting with food recovery. Tasks related to the operation of the boutique (thrift store) including receiving, sorting and cleaning donations, pricing and restocking shelves, staffing the checkout counter, handling money, interacting with customers, many of whom are seniors. Tasks related to the operation of the community resource centre including greeting the public, set up and take down of space for activities, promoting and participating in youth outreach activities, fundraising. Tasks related to the operation of the building including light cleaning/sanitizing procedures, light yard work.
