Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate: Leadership over all operations -Experience working with children and youth (ages 8-15). Commitment to providing a safe, diverse,
encouraging, and fun atmosphere for all paddlers and athletes. -Leadership skills and ability to present themselves as strong role models for all paddlers and athletes. -Creativity in developing and implementing engaging programming for paddlers. -Ability to work and perform in a team environment.
Preference will be given to applicants with experience with water sports, particularly in sprint canoe and kayak. Successful coaches for all water activities should be able to demonstrate proof of, or willingness to acquire:-Certified ELCC or Canoe Kids Certification (wage increase if completed) -New Brunswick Pleasure Craft Operator Certification -Standard First Aid & Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification • Provide a Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector• Complete the Safe Sport Training course
