The position will include duties in the main production kitchen and on the Nursing Houses. The successful candidate will work under the direct supervision of the Nutritional Services Manager. The student will be trained to load food wagons, operate the dish machines, serve residents in the dining rooms, portion and label desserts as well as following all food safety guidelines. Other duties as needed may be required.

This position may also involve some administrative tasks, such as photocopying and keeping diet binder and staff resources up to date.

Hours for this position will be: 7:00AM-2:30PM

- Assist the Director of Research in creating and executing a communication plan.
- Develop market plan for the research program to community members.
- Developing education materials for the knowledge translation for staff.
- Provide administrative support, such as assisting with filing and other office tasks as required.
- Help with one of the Research Department's programs, Nursing Homes Without Walls, tasks include: connect and create friendships among seniors, assisting with activities through the monthly calendar of events, participating in outings, adventures, and in-house recreational programs, conduct client surveys to collect and analysis data about satisfaction with NHWW, perform data collection, entry, and reporting, help with the creation and delivery of newsletters and calendars.
