Performs physical grounds keeping maintenance tasks e.g. spring clean-up and raking leaves and broken tree branches; grass mowing and trimming; tree pruning, planting, fertilizing, edging and mulching; flower and shrub bed trimming, spring prep and cleaning, edging, mulching; backfill, material spreading and leveling sunken areas in graveyards; top dressing and seeding damaged turf areas, and preparing for hydroseeding and /or installation of sod; cleaning and painting buildings, fences, flagpoles, and other fixed assets; straightening, leveling and cleaning stone monuments and flush markers; operation of ride-on mower and powered grass trimmers, power washer, garden tillers, etc.;open and closed graves for cremation burials; use of hand tools like rakes, shovels pry bars, wheel barrows, saws, pruning shears, hand loppers, and the like. Greets visitors, delivery personnel, provides information, answers questions, provides directions, Maintains records of hours worked and work done.
