The Farm and Garden Support Worker will assist in growing food and supporting neurodivergent participants in skills-development at our organic farm, greenhouses, and gardens.

Tasks may include:
• Garden and greenhouse growing production
• Seeding, transplanting and watering; weed management
• Volunteer/participant mentoring and supervision
• Post-harvest processing, marketing and sales
• Animal husbandry
• Food preparation activities

Requirements
• keen interest in both gardening and people
• open to learning new things
• able to be active for a full day's work in all weather conditions
• interest in cooking with others is an asset
• ability to work independently or on a team
• must be committed to working respectfully in an environment with people with diverse learning needs and abilities

Priority will be given to applicants who are neurodivergent, or have lived experience with mental health or other challenges.

A Criminal Records check is required.
