Electrofishing surveys for juvenile fish densities (all species in the Nepisiguit River and its tributaries. Includes helping with stocking of salmon juveniles if fry are available. Data collection of water quality parameters which includes ,water temperature, turbidity, flow rates acidity ,O2, and other parameters . This is done on the Nepisiguit and tributaries but also on Bass, Tetagouche, Elmtree and Nigadoo rivers . Cleanup of areas along the river and fish passage removal ,mapping of beaver dams for future breeching if necessary to enable salmon to reach their native spawning grounds. Under the direction of the supervisor CABIN assessments will be preformed on all rivers in the area.
