Student will work with the Director of Parks & Recreation of the Rural Community of Hanwell to assist with the development and implementation of recreation and leisure programs such as arts, crafts, sports, games, and special events. They will assist in creating and distributing program information and promotional material for the events hosted by the Rural Community of Hanwell. They will set up/tear down and lead recreational activities, and assist the Director as needed. Must be willing to work varied hours as evenings and/or weekends will be necessary for some events.

Assist Activity Director in our activation program for our residents.
Duties include but not limited to:
- aiding in planning, and executing daily and special group activities for the residents
- aiding with daily personalized activities
- clerical work

The successful candidate will be working collaboratively with the nursing team in providing direct resident care to our 30 residents. Exact duties will reflect current level of education within the field. Students will be supervised and assisted to work within their current scope of practice. Ie) student who will be entering 1st year nursing program vs. student who has already completed two years of nursing education.

Duties & Responsibilities Include: Assists residents with hygiene needs and daily living activities including bathing, dressing and at meal times
Assists with resident’s restorative care programs, walking and range of motion; safe transfer techniques
Assists residents to and supports them in participating in leisure activities
Assists in resident focused specialized programming such as music therapy, outside activities

Tasks and responsibilities including, but not limited to:
1) Preparation for and participation in VBS in coordination with the Associate Pastor of Family Ministries.
2) Coordination of Summer Sunday programming including review and determination of usage of the appropriate sections of the approved curriculum (in with the youth committee), identification of material needs, teaching, and coordination & scheduling of volunteers.
3) Coordination of Summer Children’s and Youth camps and activities including review and choosing curriculum, identification of material needs, teaching, and coordination & scheduling of volunteers.
4) Office tasks related to preparation of bulletins, printing and copying, website updates, ordering & purchasing of supplies, etc.
5) General organization, maintenance, and clean-up tasks within the church building and property.
6) Visitation of seniors in the community.

The role of this position is to support the program manager in the delivery of introduction parasport programs throughout the province of New Brunswick. Key area responsibilities: Coordinate and deliver Parasport Roadshow; host Have a Go days; Coordinate summer parasport programs (para cycling, wheelchair tennis, boccia, wheelchair basketball and more).

Other roles include: Create and share social media content for event promotions and successes; Collaborate with partners such as municipalities, provincial sport organizations, clubs, disability organizations and the Stan Cassidy Centre for Rehabilitation for targeted recruitment.

Under general management, the selected individual will participate in organizing and assuring smooth running of multiples tasks such as collecting artifacts for heritage exhibitions purposes, preparation of rooms during cultural events, as well as highlighting artists on display in the art gallery. Victoria Glen Manor is a 60 bed nursing home located in Perth-Andover.
We have a temporary summer position in our nursing department for a Resident Assistant. The successful candidate will work closely with nursing staff to deliver the daily care for our senior and/or disabled residents. Duties may include walking, dressing, feeding residents. This job will provide excellent on the job training for students in an RN, LPN, or other healthcare related program.
