The job will involve working closely with the head maintenance staff member who will mentor and coach the new hire. The new hire will be involved in following a plan and be able to work on their own from time to time. Safety equipment will be supplied when and if required.

1. Program Support:
• Plan and implement RiverCross Mission’s twice-weekly community meal program in July.
• Play a support role at RiverCross Mission’s small group activities in July & August, including outdoor community gatherings and summer outings.
• Work with the RiverKids Director and Summer Ministry Intern Coordinator to ensure that families from the Old North End, Crescent Valley and Anglin Drive neighbourhoods can access summer programs.
2. Tech Support: provide broad creative input to the RiverCross Mission Facebook Group in order to create a virtual community space for people to connect
3. Partner Support: Perform in roles that enhance RiverCross Mission’s relationship with partner organizations in the Old North End and Crescent Valley
4. Summer Ministry Support: Work with other student interns to provide support for RiverCross Church’s summer programs for children and youth.
5. Project Support – depending on time and availability, work on identified projects.
