The role of the Summer Ministries Intern is to assist with the development, implementation, and coordination of HBC’s summer ministries. Primarily falling under the banner of C.E., they are to coordinate the Youth and Children’s programs.
HillzKids – Plan monthly Connect Events
HillzChurch– Coordinate volunteers and curriculum for HillzChurch
VBS– Plan and Coordinate . Set design and decoration prep will be a focus. Setting specific workdays with our Jr Helpers will be crucial.
HillzYouth– Plan special events to ensure ongoing connection.
They will be expected to attend weekly meetings to ensure personal growth, program effectiveness, and goal achievement.
Accountable To: Director of Discipleship
Communication and Coordination
Maintain close communication with their Ministry Teams to ensure that all areas of the programs are covered and keep records accordingly.
Communicate all needs and progress to the Director of Discipleship so they can update the Board accordingly.
