The Conservation Outreach interns will deliver engaging nature education programs, develop resources, and lead community science initiatives in both official languages. They will advocate for conservation actions and encourage community participation in initiatives like monitoring monarch butterfly breeding habitat, engaging with diverse audiences, from youth to nature enthusiasts, across rural and urban areas. They will gain hands-on training in biological surveys and conduct fieldwork for ongoing projects. Participation in professional development opportunities, workshops, and conferences will expand their network and communication skills.
