As an Animal Attendant Assistant, you will provide crucial support to the staff at our animal shelter by assisting with daily activities that keep the shelter running smoothly. Although the primary role is one of animal care, secondary roles revolve around engaging with members of the public.
Includes such tasks:
• Washing dishes, doing laundry, organizing supplies, and ensuring that the shelter is clean and tidy.
• Ensuring all animals at the shelter are provided with clean and fresh food, water and bedding.
• Recognizing, recording and reporting any unusual condition or behavior of any animal in the shelter.
• Maintaining a high level of professional and respectful communication with staff, the public, volunteers, clients and customers.
• Unpacking, labeling and stocking of shelter supplies and donations.

The Fundraising Event Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the fundraising efforts of PAW. You will work with the Development team to help organize and implement strategies that will raise money for their organization.
• Responsible for assisting with the developing, planning, implementation, and oversight of designated fundraising and community events, programs, and organizational gatherings.
• Exercise creativity in identifying marketing methodologies and social media campaigns to raise awareness of our cause and drive community engagement.
• Conduct basic administrative tasks, data entry, and communications in relation to these activities.
• Support outreach and offsite adoption events (if needed).
• Work in close collaboration with the development team requiring good communication and teamwork skills, interpersonal skills with the opportunity for input and leadership on topic specific activities.
