Tech Connect: Building Pathways to IT Careers in New Brunswick

At WorkingNB, we’re all about connecting people with the right training and opportunities — and the Tech Connect program is a perfect example of how collaboration can open doors. 

Over the past several months, participants gained:

✅ Mentorship and training to strengthen their skills
✅ Pathways to employment in New Brunswick’s growing tech sector This program is especially meaningful for internationally trained and underrepresented IT professionals, helping them showcase their expertise and build careers here in NB. It also gives employers access to diverse, job-ready talent — supporting both business growth and workforce development.

This September, we joined Venn Innovation and partners to celebrate the first Tech Connect cohort!

With the continued support of our partners McKenna Institute and Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, our goal is to see participants move into full-time careers in IT, strengthening our communities and economy.
