The Youth Music Program Facilitator will support EQ Music Lab in delivering hands-on, group-based music activities for youth during the summer. Working under the mentorship of EQ leadership and in collaboration with youth leaders, the student will help plan, set up, and facilitate inclusive music experiences such as open jams, workshops, and collaborative sessions that encourage creativity, skill development, and peer connection.
The student will assist with activity planning, basic facilitation, participant support, and post-event reflection, helping to create welcoming environments where youth can engage with music in a safe and supportive setting. The role will also include supporting outreach, documenting activities, and reflecting on best practices for youth-centered music programming.
This position provides experiential learning in group facilitation, music programming, teamwork, and community arts practice.
