Position Summary
The Head Sailing Instructor is responsible for overseeing all sailing instruction activities, ensuring a safe, fun, and educational experience for participants of all ages and skill levels. This role includes managing a team of instructors, maintaining equipment, and delivering high-quality sailing programs in accordance with organizational standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities
• Plan, organize, and lead sailing lessons.
• Supervise and mentor sailing instructors.
• Enforce safety protocols on and off the water.
• Ensure boats and gear are properly maintained and ready for use.
• Communicate effectively with participants and parents, addressing questions and concerns.

Qualifications
• Certified CANSail Sailing Instructor
• Minimum 3 years of sailing instruction experience, including leadership roles.

The ONE Summer Supervisors will be responsible for activity supervision and working with the youth in the Old North End of Saint John aged 6-12 and teens (ages 12-18). The program includes drop in activities, camp and in the events.
Working as a team to:
*Supervise ONE Change summer activities and events
*Plan and deliver programming for summer programs (planning and training, camp activities, end of summer events)
*Supervise youth participating
*Plan and supervise educational and recreational activities outside the Centre
*Provide activities for the playground and in the community to engage youth
*Create a welcoming engaging space for teen drop in

Working within Centre:

The candidate will assist the Maintenance Manager in upgrading the overgrown and extensive garden areas and provide support with maintenance tasks inside the retreat center as needed. Responsibilities include the beautification of walking trails and serene grounds throughout the property.

Under the supervision of the permanent team, the coordinator will ensure the full operational coordination of DansEncorps summer programming. Under the guidance of the Program Coordinator, this essential position is responsible for providing a quality experience for members and other participants, as an attendant and through the implementation of tennis programs, events and activities for various members of the community (youth, adults and seniors, marginalized people, newcomers, etc.) in both official languages.

• Implement tennis programs (e.g. junior and adult programs, clinics, day camps) and assist other tennis instructors as required;
• Contribute to the hospitality and efficient running of the Club's daily activities both as an instructor and as an attendant: disseminate information, answer questions, manage registrations, perform regular facility upkeep and cleanliness duties, provide merchandise and rentals, etc.;
• Support the development of more junior staff.

Tennis instructor’s certification required (Tennis Canada)

Salary: $16.65/h (minimum)
