The Program & Events Coordinator will assist with:

(1) planning, implementing, and leading fundraising and promotional events to generate awareness and support for the Fredericton Community Kitchens’ programs,
(2) the operations of the Student Hunger Program food services (located on Cliffe Street), including preparing food items, maintaining a clean kitchen environment, and supervising volunteers,
(3) producing written and visual communication materials (i.e., informational handouts, social media posts, etc.),
(4) participation in committee meetings related to job tasks and responsibilities, including preparing meeting minutes.

Requirements
The incumbent must have:
-Availability during evenings and weekends as needed,
-Valid drivers license and access to own reliable transportation to various locations in Fredericton (work-related travel mileage reimbursed),
-Clean criminal record check,
-Valid food safety and First-Aid/CPR certification is an asset
