A job for anyone interested in growing food, from seed to harvest.
Job duties include:
All aspects of growing food from seed to harvest both indoors and outdoors; able to work on your own, with staff, and volunteers.
Looking after flower pots placed around the gardens for our bees, brush cutting, weeding, fertilizing and watering.
Work on existing structures, make trellises, prepare hoops for shade cloth and plastic covers, and work on watering systems
assigned other duties as necessary to "HELPING US HELP OTHERS ".
The student taking on this role would need to be:
a) computer literate - an asset
b) interested in gardening and working outdoors
c) good with people
All aspects overseen by our Gardener who teaches seed to harvest.
No prior knowledge is required but would be an asset. The work is mostly outside in all weathers and is physical in nature, but very satisfying.

The primary responsibility of the Family Room Associate is to maintain a safe and welcoming space for families visiting the Ronald McDonald Family Room at the Moncton Hospital. The Family Room Associate will often work alone, with help from an engaged team of volunteers.
The FRA will coordinate all family related needs while on shift, supervise and aid volunteers on duty, handle any arising emergencies, perform various administrative tasks and oversee general operations of Ronald McDonald Family Room. The FRA will also support administrative projects to help further the success of Family Room services and programing.

If you like the outdoors and protecting the environment, this job is for you. The project assistant will have the opportunity to explore rivers, and important habitats while collecting important environmental data. The project assistant will be responsible for entering the data into the databases under the supervision of the environmental technician. He will also have to monitor project objectives on water quality, and monitoring of species at risk such as the maritime ringlet and the bank swallow. The employee will have the opportunity to use and calibrate equipment such as a multi-parameter probe, a current meter, and an anemometer. Environmental awareness is also a big part of the job through various means like social media, production of informative documents, presentations, and daily activities for the youth at a summer camp and presentations with Kiosks at the regional farmers market.

The individual would assist with the supervision of the swimming pool and waterfront areas. Individual would be involved in program activity instruction. This person would also assist in the cleaning / maintenance of the swimming pool and waterfront areas.

This position would be involved in a variety of tasks that may include but not be limited to the following: Cabin leading - providing supervision and leadership to 8-10 campers assigned to their cabin for a week as well as mentoring junior staff; Program - providing help and support for wide site games, hikes, campfires, etc.; Maintenance - chores such as cleaning and maintenance; Kitchen - provide support to our head cook as needed to plan, prep, and serve meals.

Greens maintenance, mowing, seeding, fertilizing, and weeding. Facilities management, painting interior and exterior of building. Repair decks and boards surrounding green. Maintenance of green sheds (3) and regular maintenance of machinery and equipment. Prepares green for play, setting up rinks for competition on a daily basis. Following completion of play, put away all equipment. Assists with cleaning and sanitizing of clubhouse as per health and safety guidelines. Assists with local tournaments hosted by the club. Assists with Provincial and Atlantic tournaments hosted by the club. May require worker to play in order to complete existing teams. Other duties as may be assigned. This position may involve evening and/or weekend work.
