Head Lifeguard at Salisbury Lions Pool * supervises daily pool operations and all staff, incl class scheduling, incident reports & paperwork for staff hours. HL also oversees daily public outreach (posting pool info on social media, eg. water temps, activities, closures) in collaboration with the Dept of Recreation & Wellness and liaising with the Infrastructure & Public Works Dept for pool maintenance (eg. pool chemical levels, facility maintenance). HL will also ensure swimmer safety, give swim lessons and be direct on-site supervisor for all Lifeguards. Outside the Pool open season, HL will assist with Swim Lesson Registrations and prep for opening of the Pool.
* Located at Salisbury Lions Club, the outdoor pool is managed by the Town of Salisbury through a long-term lease with the Lions Club. HL must have at least 2 years of experience as a Lifeguard and Swim Instructor and must have National Lifeguard Course, Instructor Course and CPR/First-Aid as pre-conditions of employment.
