The Education and Engagement Intern supports the Conservation Council of New Brunswick's education, outreach, and community engagement initiatives that advance environmental awareness and action across New Brunswick. Working closely with program and communications staff, the intern will help develop and deliver educational resources, support community events and workshops, assist with school- and youth-focused programming, and contribute to digital and on-the-ground engagement efforts. Responsibilities may include research, content creation, event coordination, volunteer support, and basic monitoring and reporting. Through this role, the intern will build practical skills in environmental education, public engagement, facilitation, communications, project coordination, and collaboration, while gaining first-hand experience working within a province-wide environmental organization.

Our youth recreation counsellors will be responsible for planning 9 weeks of summer camp for ages 4-11 and an 8 week multi-sport program for ages 3-12. You will work directly with youth and administer the program over 9 weeks.

The Youth Basketball Coordinator will provide leadership, and supervision for all summer camp participants and instructors and assist in daily operation of Moncton Basketball Association. Responsibilities Include: Responsible for planning and execution of youth basketball camps. Manage the day-to-day operations of the camp. This includes but is not limited to: management of daily camp schedule and skills curriculum, - maintaining great public relations with parents and/or guardians, ensure camp is a fun and safe environment at all times • Provide top-notch client service by communicating efficiently and professionally with all stakeholders. • Work in a team environment with MBA staff and volunteers to plan and execute association objectives by sharing resources, making decisions, solving conflicts, and negotiating within a team

Supports the planning and delivery of summer soccer programs, camps, and events. Duties include assisting with schedules, coordinating equipment, supporting coaches on site, and helping ensure a safe and positive experience for participants. To plan and deliver swimming and water-based programs, teaching participants water safety, swimming skills, and proper techniques. They ensure a safe, inclusive environment, supervise participants in and around the pool, and respond appropriately to emergencies.

Works with Child & Youth Workers to provide parent assistance. Daily management of children's programs and activites on site and in the community to increase mental health and wellbeing. Researches, develops, plans and delvers structured trauma-informaed activities to promote social skills, emotion regulation, resilience and general wellbeing. Provides positive interactions, supportive listening, relationship building and practical assistanc. Provides childcare where needed. Provides a safe and supportive environment where children can learn and practice self-regulation skills, coping strategies, communication, problem-solving skills, self-esteem and assertiveness, etc. Assists in the development of healthy relationships and boundaries. Establishes playroom rules and routines. Maintains a clean playroom and equipment. Gathers information on external children's programs, activities and camps to promote socialisation in community. Works flexibly, some evening work.
