The overall goal is to plan and implement program activities for Summer Camps. This will be achieved by:
- Organize/Lead a variety of large group activities each week.
- Ensuring equipment is prepared for activities are available and all program areas are left clean and tidy;
- Participate with Club members, teaching skills, providing encouragement and support;
- Know and follow all safety guidelines associated with the Club and all program areas. This includes being responsible for youth’s safety and their whereabouts at all times;
- Direct youth in a manner that promotes safety and improves the quality of their interaction with one another;
- Observe participant behavior, assess its appropriateness, enforce appropriate safety regulations and emergency procedures and apply appropriate behavior-management techniques;
- Keep accurate records and incident reports; reporting incidents immediately to your manager.
This position 35-40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
