The SEED student(s) will be involved in all fundraising activities during the summer months. This will start with a Silent Auction, collecting items that have been donated, photographing these, creating and posting online, monitoring bids, closing the auction and contacting winning bidders. The items are prepared for the winners and passed out to them. Summer BBQ's involve buying supplies, setting up and taking down the event, cooking, collecting payment and serving customers. An annual ticket sale event involves printing tickets, delivery to local vendors, collecting tickets at sale end, preparing the draw and contacting winner. All of these events involve data recording on individual spreadsheets. A semi-annual newsletter is a responsibility taken on by the students. This involves preparing articles, uploading photos and preparing delivery by email and regular mail.
