This is a great opportunity for students interested in environmental/wildlife issues and/or education. You’ll be part of NB’s only licensed Wildlife Rehabilitation/Environmental Education Centre, located just outside Sackville.
Interns will have duties in either wildlife care and summer educational programs, depending on each applicant’s interest. Assisting in the daily care of wildlife patients, wildlife duties will include hands on feeding of orphans, formulating diets, husbandry/enrichment, cleaning, site maintenance, data entry, travel for animal pickups, veterinary assistance. Educational team duties will include assisting with on-site summer programs (youth camps, workshops), maintaining woodland trails, species identification, organic gardening.
