This role supports the rehabilitation team in promoting resident mobility, independence, and dignity within a long-term care environment. Responsibilities include assisting with the delivery of exercise programs and mobility treatments designed by rehab professionals, helping residents participate in therapy activities, transporting residents to sessions, and documenting observations or progress as directed. The student will also help maintain equipment, support safe positioning and transfers following established protocols (including the Back-In-Form program), and communicate with staff and residents to ensure program goals are met. Candidates should be comfortable working with minimal supervision, have strong interpersonal skills, and be capable of meeting the physical demands of the role.
