La personne choisie devra faire preuve d’entregent et avoir un esprit d’équipe et de collaboration. Une expérience passée dans l’animation de camp serait un atout. La personne choisie sera responsable des tâches suivantes : collaborer à l’organisation des activités des camps de jour ; animer les activités et prévoir le matériel nécessaire ; encadrer et supervise des groupes d’enfants ; assurer la sécurité de leur groupe lors des activités régulières et des sorties; travailler à l’occasion sur des événements de la saison estivale et toutes autres tâches assignées par votre gestionnaire immédiat.

La personne choisie devra faire preuve d’entregent et avoir un esprit d’équipe et de collaboration. Une expérience passée dans le travail manuel et l'entretien paysager serait un atout. La personne choisie sera responsable des tâches suivantes : assurer l'entretien paysager tel que la tonte de gazon, l'arrosage des fleurs et le désherbage; participer à l’entretien des bâtiments et des infrastructure, la réalisation de menus travaux tel que la peinture et toutes autres tâches assignées par votre gestionnaire immédiat. La personne choisie devra être cappable des travaux physiques et manuels et être capable de soulever jusqu'à 20kg.

Assist with food inventory following best food safety practices. Unloading inventory from the truck, rotating stock, restocking shelves. As well as assisting with cleaning. Job requires having the ability to lift up to 50lbs and the ability to work independently.

General head lifeguarding requirements and duties including:
- Supervision of private pool with shallow end and deep end
- NLS trained with current certification and first aid/CPR
- Ability to teach basic swimming skills, organize pool games, and provide a structured swimming program
- Maintain a clean, hazard free workspace (both in water and on deck)
- Maintain pool security (lock gates when not in use)
- Be a role model to children and other team members in pool safety and posted pool rules
- Assist with other campground activities as needed when lifeguarding duties are not required

Key Responsibilities of the crew

- Parks and facility monitoring & maintenance of Town facilities, including; Daily Review of all Town facilities including Brundage Point River Centre, Unity Park, Veterans Peace Park, Ball Fields, Tennis Courts, Walking Trail, Parks and Playgrounds;
- Weekly mowing, maintenance and cleaning of Town-owned green space;
- Some light sweeping, mopping, dusting and cleaning of Community Centres may be required;
- Ensuring facility lawns are free of litter and debris;
- Assisting with rental events and ensuring facilities are operational;
- Back-up assistance for official Town event and program delivery;

Skills:

Ability to operate small power tools, lawn mowers (ride-on and push);
stand for long durations; to work with others; to work alone; and
to work from written instructions.

Requirements:

Supply own steel toe work boots;
Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence;
Education: Grade 12 or higher; and
Able to work weekends and holidays.

Reporting to the Recreation Director

Key Responsibilities

- Opening and closing the Brundage Point River Centre as key and alarm code holder;
- Greeting visitors to the Brundage Point River Centre;
- Assist with tourism inquiries and directions;
- Supervising rental events and ensuring facilities are operational;
- Greeting and assisting event organizers;
- Assist official Town event and program delivery;
- Parks and facility monitoring & maintenance of Town facilities, including: Brundage Point River Centre, Unity Park, Veterans Peace Park, Ball Fields, Tennis Courts, Walking Trail, Parks and Playgrounds;
- Some light sweeping, mopping, dusting and cleaning of Community Centers may be required;
