Fredericton Outdoor Summer Theatre is a non-profit tour and theatre company comprised of: The Calithumpians, who perform live lunchtime theatre, guide the Haunted Hike at night and conduct workshops with our drama camps; The Fredericton Fencibles, who perform Guard House Theatre and conduct tours of downtown Fredericton, the Historic Garrison District, and The Guard House National Historic Site; and our “Act Now!” Drama Camps for youth age 6 to 14, led by a group of drama camp counselors.
This 12-14 week position will be with one of the three troupes outlined above for our 2025 summer season. Candidates will be required to audition / interview with our company in late April / early May.

The students will be working with our golf staff on different parts of the operation including the junior program, customer service in the Pro Shop and work with our fleet of power carts.
This job offers a great opportunity to interact with the public and help with the daily operation of the golf course. Work with the junior program will be supervised by our Golf Professional. The program runs for 8 weeks during the summer for junior golfers aged 8-18 years old with golf clinics and activities each week. In the Pro Shop the students will work with members and guests daily as the arrive at the golf course and help with other Pro Shop activities. This job will be a combination of indoor and outdoor work during the summer. The students will receive work place safety training when they start working.

The student will be working on daily maintenance and special projects on the golf course to improve our facility for both local golfers and tourists. Daily maintenance includes grass cutting, course preparation and clean-up. The special projects include: rebuilding golf tee decks, improving our sand bunkers and working on our tree management program.
The student will be supervised by our Golf Course Superintendent. The student will work with our Assistant Superintendent on the projects listed above and there will be constant mentoring for the student. They will receive safety training and operational training for any equipment they will be working with. The majority of the work will be done outside during the summer.
