The Theatre School Summer Instructor will instruct for TNB Theatre School's summer programs in acting and musical theatre, for students ages 5-18 years old. Duties include assisting in material selection and lesson planning; teaching acting technique, music, and/or dance, and following the TNB Theatre School curriculum. The Instructor will maintain a positive and safe learning environment for all students, communicate with parents about schedules, camp needs, and any challenges students are having in the class, and support summer camp volunteers. The Instructor reports to the Theatre School Director and will keep them informed of class progress. Skills Required -Must work well with children -Must have experience in theatre arts -Experience with leading and teaching children/youth in singing, acting and/or dancing preferred -Demonstrate skills in conflict resolution -Must have the ability to work collaboratively and communicate well with others.

Key Responsibilities:
Guest Services:

Maintenance & Groundskeeping:
Maintain the cleanliness of facilities, including washrooms, showers, and common areas.
Inspect and prepare campsites, ensuring fire pits, picnic tables, and grounds are clean and safe.
Collect and dispose of garbage and recycling from designated areas.

Working Conditions:
The role requires outdoor work, sometimes in adverse weather, and involves standing, walking, and light physical labour.

12 Neighbours Community Inc. operates a community of tiny homes to support people who were experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity. In addition to housing, we provide developmental support to our community members and work training opportunities to help them on their path to independence. The Community Activity Support role will work with the community team to organize and run community activities in the summer. These activities include working alongside community members in the community garden, planning summer bbqs and events, participating in physical activities with the community members, etc. This role reports to the Director of Community.
