Le Jardin botanique du Nouveau-Brunswick compte 12 jardins thématiques qui se déploient sur 8 hectares bordant la rivière Madawaska. Sur le site on retrouve également des mosaïcultures impressionnantes, une herboristerie où se déroule une multitude d’activités, le très populaire Café Flora, nos artistes en résidence et une salle d’exposition.

Nous sommes à la recherche d’une personne souriante et dynamique pour être préposé à l’accueil et responsable de la boutique. Voir plus bas une courte description des tâches principales pour ce poste.

Le Jardin botanique du N.-B. se démarque également par sa panoplie d’activités culturelles et ses festivals. Le Jardin compte actuellement 3 festivals majeurs, soit : la sortie branchée en Acadie, la grande grouille d’automne et le jardin emballé. Un poste de Coordonateur/Coordonatrice des événements est donc conçu au Jardin afin de veiller au bon déroulement de ces événements.
• Préparation des concepts et des thématiques pour les divers événements
• Création et installation des décors dans le Jardin et achat des matériaux
• Programmation musicale et artistique lors des événements
• Démarchage pour la production des spectacles
• Développement de partenariat et recrutement des bénévoles

The Farm and Garden Support Worker will assist in growing food and supporting neurodivergent participants in skills-development at our organic farm, greenhouses, and gardens.

Tasks may include:
• Garden and greenhouse growing production
• Seeding, transplanting and watering; weed management
• Volunteer/participant mentoring and supervision
• Post-harvest processing, marketing and sales
• Animal husbandry
• Food preparation activities

We are looking for a unique and creative individual that is inspired to think outside the box in creating, developing, and implementing programs for children, teens, families, and senior adults. The employee will:
* Act a leader for all summer programming and community events.
* Develop promotional material to advertise the summer programs.
* Be involved in community events
* Lead programs to help us to foster stronger relationships with the community, particularly in the areas of children, youth and senior adults.

Staff will be responsible for planning and implementing a safe, fun, and welcoming summer day camp for children between the ages of 4 and 12.,
You will be required to organize games, crafts, activities, outings, and special guests. You will need to supervise the children during all activities, as well as play and interact with them while ensuring that they feel safe, welcome, and valued.
Snack preparation, end-of-day cleaning, and maintenance will also be required.

The position will provide support to the Early Childhood Educator in the classrooms. Assist in the daily operations, coordinate daily programming and provide children with learning experiences to help develop socially, intellectually, physically, and emotionally. The position requires direct supervision of the children in all activities. The student must follow policies and procedures put in place by the centre and the Department of education and Early Childhood Development. The student will assist the educators with implementing the daily programming, be responsible for light housekeeping, and record keeping. The student will assist the educator with maintaining communications with the families. The student will also help with maintaining the health and safety protocols put in place by the Government of New Brunswick and Public Health.

The role of this Summer Ministries Intern is to assist with the development, implementation, and coordination of HBC’s summer programs. Programs offered primarily target youth and children's extracurricular activities like summer classes, sport/music camps, teaching kitchen and more.

Community outreach will be a key part of this position as well. The applicant will participate in planning community outreach events like picnics and fun fairs.

Ultimately, we strive for the Summer Ministry Intern to grow during the duration of this position. In order to help them grow and develop, they will be expected to attend weekly meetings to share in the planning and implementation of the programs. This will also aid in personal growth, program effectiveness, and goal achievement.
