Theater Intern - Junior Level
The intern will work on community arts projects, including the creation of plays, workshops, and summer camps in both French and English. This position is open to all qualified students who enjoy working by the water and learning skills associated with safety and security of a marina. This is an evening / night position.
Some of the duties include: ensuring the boats are secured, assisting boaters departing and returning to the marina, performing general maintenance tasks, greeting guests, and providing general security of the marina including the docks and gates. Additionally, general light sanitation and documentation may be required to ensure compliance to the marina's operational plan.
This position helps students develop interpersonal skills and a methodical approach to ensuring a safe and secure facility. It will appeal to students who can work independently and also enjoy interacting with patrons and the general public.
The marina operates annually from 01 June to 30 September, however, this position respects the academic calendar and educational priorities of the student.
