Stonehammer UNESCO Global Geopark is hiring a Geopark Interpreter. This role will focus on showcasing relevant natural and cultural history sites around the region, while operating primarily out of Saint John. The Geopark Interpreter will inform the public about what Stonehammer does, and educate on the environment, history, and culture of the region, while promoting sustainable tourism initiatives. Programming will be directed at both locals and tourists, and will include events that are free and low cost for the community.

Training will be provided; additionally, the candidate is expected to have excellent communication skills, be comfortable speaking in front of large groups of people, and work independently and with a team. Applicants of all backgrounds and experience levels are encouraged to apply.
