Animal Attendant will be responsible, under the supervision of a staff member, for assisting in the care, cleaning, medication and socialization of our sick, injured, abused and/or neglected cats. We follow a strict routine which ensures our cats receive the best of medical care and are socialized so that they may eventually join loving families. All our cats undergo spays/neuters, full vaccine protocol, parasite control and testing for Feline Leukemia, Feline Immunodeficiency Virus and Heartworm. Assistants may also be asked to handle small amounts of money and interact with staff, volunteers and the public as representatives of DunRoamin'.

The Summer Farm Intern will support a regenerative community teaching farm that addresses food insecurity, environmental stewardship, and community food sovereignty. This paid experiential learning position is ideal for a person interested in sustainable agriculture and public education. Under the supervision of the Community Farm Manager, the intern will gain hands-on skills in regenerative farming and inclusive community programming. No prior farm or program experience is required.

Duties include assisting with soil preparation, composting, planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops using regenerative methods; supporting farm maintenance and biodiversity practices; assisting with educational programs, farm tours, and workshops; supporting weekly harvest and food distribution for community partners; creating social media content; collecting basic data; maintaining records; following safety protocols; and collaborating with staff and volunteers. Saturday work is required.

The student would be responsible to help all coaches and helpers for any of the younger ball teams if needed. Would also help with looking after the ball field, mowing the outfield and dragging and lining the field ahead of games. May also be asked to look after the playground making sure the equipment is safe and picking up any garbage or anything that might be dangerous.

with many acres of land to upkeep we need assistance with the usual upkeep in lawn maintenance and building maintenance for our Beulah Camp property and our Catons Island property. This is working in a rural setting about 40 minutes away from Saint John.
